(DO NOT DELETE THE DATA/SEAT FILES UNLESS YOU HAVE SOME TO REPLACE THEM) The older version bots seat recording replaced all the files. Today to make it much simpler for the user, the bot only replaces the 9 player files. The rest need to stay or else bad things happen like not being able to find a seat. With updates to the bot, the following should hardly ever have to be used. You only need to record the seats for the initial setup and should you ever change your profile pic you will again need to record the seats. When you do record the seats, the bot will delete the old player files for you and replace them. So the following should hardly ever have to be done....
To delete your seat files, navigate to data\seat. Inside, delete everything (unless you have hidden files shown, in which case delete everything except the hidden file).
To delete opponent.ini, navigate to data. Find opponent.ini and delete it. The bot will make a new one when it records seats. If you don’t delete the opponent.ini before recording seats, the bot may be unable to calculate the number of opponents.
Now that the correct files are deleted, we need to record our seats. For this, we’ll have to join the correct empty 9 table room. Whether it is correct or not depends on which tables you’ll be planning to bot at.
If you plan to bot at 1/2-25/50, you’ll a table that resembles this:
If you plan to bot at 100/200-2k/4k, you’ll want a table that resembles this:
If you plan to bot at 5k/10k-40k/80k, you’ll want a table that resembles this:
If you plan to bot at tables 100k/200k and above, you’ll want a table that resembles this:
To record seats, simply double click the bot.exe. You may have to log in. Ensure that the poker page is open before clicking bot.exe (it cannot record seats if the page is minimised or closed). If anyone joins your table whilst you are recording seats, you’ll have to go through the ‘delete + record’ process all over again.
Once the seat recording process is complete, hold down Ctrl+Alt+X and join the lobby.
